This industry renowned tool, used well, enables us to gain greater awareness of guest’s behavioural patterns whilst avoiding the common pitfalls of labelling. This insight offers the opportunity to engage with guests more successfully and build relationships quicker.

One of the most trusted behavioural communication models in the world, DISC is based on more than 80 years of research and development, and is used across the globe in thousands of organisations, government agencies, FTSE and Fortune 500 companies.

DISC identifies four broad behavioural traits. There is no right or wrong, no good or bad behavioural style, we are all a mix of all four in varying amounts. This is not an exercise in labelling people. DISC is about behavioural patterns - it is not a definition of ‘who you are,’ it is simply what you tend to do habitually in certain contexts.

Sessions are interactive, sociable learning experiences that create greater understanding of one’s own patterns, and those of others. Using this model of behaviour well will greatly contribute to team cohesion, sales conversions, telephone sales, guest interactions and any situation that requires collaboration.
